Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 129.65 feet

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Saturday stood at 129.65 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 425 cusecs and a discharge of 1,555 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 59.28 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,130 cusecs and a discharge of 2,099 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,240.44 mcft. Rainfall recorded in Kodaikanal was 2.0mm.
