Coronation Street's Tanisha Gorey flooded with messages after gorgeous 'over' update

Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey has been flooded with compliments as she took to social media in an 'over' confirmation update. The actress was marking the end of the wedding season and looked sensational as she was a guest at a special occasion.

Taking to Instagram, Tanisha, who is famed for playing Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, shared a photo in which she could be seen posing for the camera in a stunning blue dress which boasted spaghetti straps and lace floral detailing.

The soap star pulled her hair back into a slicked-back ponytail with a bouncy waved added to the end and accesorised with delicate gold jewellery and a light-coloured Coach bag.

Captioning the post, Tanisha wrote: "Wedding season is officially over," alongside a sad face emoji. And her friend and followers were quick to comment on the post while Corrie co-star Lucy Fallon responded with a string of love heart eyes emoji.

It comes after Tanisha said she had 'fallen in love' over the summer after ditching the UK with her co-stars. The actress was joined by three of her castmates on a girls' trip in August to Rome.

Tanisha headed to the Italian city with fellow Corrie stars Lucy, Channique Sterling-Brown and Charlotte Jordan, who fans will know for starring as Bethany Platt, Dee-Dee Bailey and Daisy Midgeley in the long-running show.

When the foursome arrived in Rome, they took to social media with an excited video, alongside which they said: "When the holiday makes it out the group chat," before continuing to share updates from their break with their fans and followers.

Taking to her main Instagram grid, Tanisha shared a string of snaps as she took in some of the main hotspots. In one photo, the soap star was seen basking in the sun as she sported a matching pink striped top and shorts while covering her eyes with a dark pair of shades.

In another photo, Tanisha looked glamorous in a white summer dress as she perched on the side of the famous Trevi Fountain while looking away from the camera and at the statues around the 18th-century fountain.

"Fallen in love with Rome," she captioned the post. Channique was quick to respond, writing: "She’s as beautiful as the scenery," while fellow Corrie co-star Tina O'Brien replied: "Looking stunning." Former soap star Stephanie Davis also posted: "Oh she a cutieeee," as Hollyoaks' Haiesha Mistry added: "Gorj."
