BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell declares love for co-star during live show and viewers missed it

Dianne Buswell has been heard declaring her love for her Strictly Come Dancing co-star during her latest performance - but viewers will have missed it.

It was a spectacular weekend for the professional dancer as she headed to Blackpool for the BBC One dance contest's annual special. Dianne and her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland pulled off their highest score of the series as they opened Saturday night's (November 16) live show which was broadcast live from the world-famous Tower Ballroom for one weekend only.

Comedian Chris and Australian dancer Dianne were the first of the eight couples to make it through to week nine of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series to take to the world-famous ballroom floor.

They delivered a classical American smooth routine to Canadian-born singer Paul Anka’s Jump that earned them their first 10s of the series Head judge Shirley Ballas told black tie-wearing Chris that he had the "best feet I’ve seen in a long time", and "didn’t miss a beat".

Anton Du Beke said "if anyone can beat that tonight, I’d be amazed", before they earned 37 points out of a pssible 40 from the judges, as co-host Tess Daly revealed they were the 100th Strictly couple to perform in Blackpool.

It was then confirmed during Sunday night's (November 17) results show that Chris and Dianne had made it through to week 10 of Strictly's 2024 series which was a personal goal for Dianne as it means her parents will get to see her perfomr live in the ballroom for the first time as they visit from Australia.

With a new week of training now underway, Chris and Dianne have melted fans' hearts over the the latest 'hidden mic' segment, in which Strictly releases a compilation of the comments made by the celebrities and their professional partners while performing live, was shared by Strictly.

Sharing the latest video on social media, the caption read: "It’s safe to say the energy was high on Saturday night! Volume up. Here’s everything you didn’t hear from the Blackpool Ballroom! #Strictly." And early on in the compilation, Dianne was heart screaming: "I love you," to Chris with a huge smile on her face.

And it didn't go unnoticed by fans. @carla300791 said: "Dianne to Chris- I love youuuuu!!
