BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'it's simple' in Pete Wicks prediction as he makes quarter-final
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have said 'it's simple' as they spoke about Pete Wicks making it through to another week in the competition.
The reality star bounced back from a difficult yet entertaining weekend in Blackpool as he returned to the ballroom on Saturday night (November 23) alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.
After last weekend's eye-popping performance, in which he performed a cha cha cha to Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy in pink PVC trousers, Pete kicked off the latest live show with an elegant tango which landed him a score of 29 out of a possible 40 points from the judges.

Dressed in an all-black suit, podcast host and former TOWIE star Pete guided and dipped his professional partner Jowita across the dancefloor to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.
Head judge Shirley Ballas hailed him as "quite an extraordinary performer" and that this week she loved that he was "focused on the job at hand". Meanwhile, Motsi Mabuse said the routine "really suits" Pete and complimented his top line.
And as he made it through to week eleven of Strictly's 2024 series, expected to be Strictly's annual musicals week, fans were quick to defend Pete's place in the competition after he was tipped to leave the hit dance contest this weekend.
@JusttAmethyst said: "It’s quite simple, Pete’s still there because people are voting for him. Neither Montell or Jamie should’ve been there tonight but the votes just weren’t there for them and sadly that’s just how it goes." @_DavidCon commented: "It's evident the public don't like Montell, whereas the Judges clearly do, especially Motsi!! shame for Jamie, he was doing so very well. Pete has a clear 'Following', so probably will get voted through each week avoiding the bottom two. Time will tell!"

@dianeisblonde wrote: "It's sad that the public don't seem to vote for Montell, Petes fans are obviously voting in their droves. At this stage, the competition is so tight that "better" dancers are inevitably going to get sent home. #StrictlySpoiler." @tvreality93 shared: "At this rate Pete is making the final his fanbase must be huge #strictlyspoiler."
@MMatski33 praised: "Pete clearly can't dance but tries his hardest every week. Isn't that what strictly is supposed to be? Pete for final 3!!" @juliesuggit typed: "Pete's still is because he's not a professional dance like tasha and jb and Sarah people love it when a none dancer learns from scratch and puts heart and soul in it Pete or Chris for the win."
And some think he'll win the whole thing. @AmySian1993 typed: "Imagine if Pete’s fan base is so big he gets so many votes he wins #Strictly." @alan_muso posted: "As #StrictlyComeDancing limps to a close, with celebs sick of the restrictions and professionals no longer cooperating with producers, the problem now seems to be Pete's fans who save him and could win him the #Strictly glitter ball..." @allthatjaz44 added: "Chris is my winner this year but I will not be surprised to see Pete win it. He’s popular. The other celebs are fantastic too. #Strictly."
