School of Rock stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli have got married more two decades after working on the film together.

Caitlin, now 33, and Angelo, now 32, met when they worked together on the film, which was released in 2003. They played classmates Marta and Frankie - known as 'Blondie' and 'Tough Guy' - respectively. Their characters were part of the band formed by substitute teacher Dewey Finn (played by Jack Black) in the comedy film.

The cast are said to have kept in touch through a group chat over the years since then, with Caitlin and Angelo later developing a romance in 2016. The couple got engaged in 2023 and were joined by loved ones at their wedding at Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, on Saturday.

The bride opted to wear a white gown and a lengthy veil, which she paired with matching gloves. She accompanied the outfit with a pair of white heels and accessorised with sparkly earrings. The groom wore a dark suit for the occasion.

According to the New York Times, the couple had previously legally married last year but celebrated their wedding at the venue last weekend. The reception included them having their first dance to Chaka Khan's song Through the Fire.

Caitlin and Angelo were joined by former co-stars from School of Rock, including Rivkah Reyes, Z Infante, Joey Gaydos Jr. and Cole Hawkins. The reunited included Aleisha Allen, Maryam Hassan, James Hosey and Brian Falduto.

It's been reported that the group danced together to Stevie Nicks' Edge of Seventeen during the reception. The song notably featured in a scene in the film between Jack's character and school principal Rosalie 'Roz' Mullins (Joan Cusack).

Speaking to the New York Times, Caitlin described dancing with her former co-stars as a "time capsule moment". Recalling one moment from the evening, she said: "We were just dancing together to some old-school disco and then there was some sort of ad lib in the song and we all just hit it."

According to the outlet, guests had been treated to a 'cocktail hour' after the ceremony. It was followed by the reception itself, where there was a three-tiered wedding cake and guests were also served cannoli on the dance floor.

Photos from the special occasion have been shared on Instagram recently, including by bride Caitlin, who described the wedding as an "unforgettable day". The former actor, who's now a sonographer, told her followers in a post on the platform on Wednesday: "Special thank you to everyone who contributed to an unforgettable day."
