I'm A Celebrity's Dean McCullough was left with a bloody injury as he quit yet another Bushtucker trial.

The radio host started well in his third trial in a row after previously bagging just two stars in two trials. He again panicked and shouted ' I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' after fish guts were poured on his head.

As he spoke following his swift exit, fans noticed he had "blood" on his face. As he broke the news he had only won four stars, fans at home thought they noticed blood on his lip. One user on Twitter/X said: "Bless him for getting 4 stars tho. Also, has anyone noticed that Dean has cut his lip," while another questioned: "Has Dean cut his lip?"

A third wondered which part of the task had left him with the mark, saying: ""Why is Dean's mouth bleeding? Spider bite?"

The trial saw Dean head to the jungle’s scientific research facility. To begin with, he was in the experimentation area and had two minutes to complete an experiment that would be worth two stars. He quickly raced to four stars before beginning to falter.

He then panicked over the critters and the rest that were joining him in the boxes around his head, despite pleading with Ant and Dec to not tell him what was joining him. When it got to the fish guts, and after minutes of Ant pulling faces, Dean called it quits.

Ant was furious when he quickly called it quits when the fish guts entered. Just moments earlier before the trial, Ant had warned him about sticking to the task at hand, unlike in his previous tasks. Ant immediately asked him what he was playing at after previously urging a terrified Dean to look at what was in the box to get to know what he was dealing with.

Despite his poor total stars in each task, Dean's mum admits his is still a winner in her eyes. Speaking to the Mirror, Ann, 55, said he is trying his best and she said she thinks Dean would also be criticising his trials performance: “The trials have been tough, and he’ll be beating himself up over it," she said. “He just needs to remember to do his best and have fun. I’m so proud of him. He is so loved and we are all cheering him on.”

She also revealed the advice she gave him before he headed Down Under. She said: “As his mother I gave him special things to remember – how much he is loved, to remember where he’s from, to be himself, no cursing and to do his best and have fun. And to do a Myleene Klass in the shower! Words can’t describe how proud I am."
