The British Grand Prix will take place at Silverstone this weekend with Brit drivers Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell all looking to make a big impact.

The huge race comes just days after a controversial incident that occured between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris in the Austria Grand Prix. Norris collided with Max Verstappen as he attempted to take the lead in Austria last weekend.

Verstappen and Norris' collision meant the Brit was left to retire, while Verstappen finished fifth after being forced to pit. Verstappen was given a 10-second penalty for inciting the incident and Norris said after the race he would lose "respect" for the three-time world champion if he did not accept responsibility, however he has since backtracked from his initial comments.

The big winner of the weekend though was Mercedes' George Russell with the 26-year-old now taking advantage of the crash and now comes into the Silverstone showpiece on the back of a victory in Austria. British racing fans will now get a chance to see Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who are all in the running to be on the podium and perhaps even top spot.

While Russell is riding a wave of positivity, Hamilton has also enjoyed a strong run of form lately with his three biggest results of the season coming in as many races. Norris clinched his maiden F1 victory at the Miami Grand Prix in May and will be hoping for another big performance this weekend as all three drivers will look to topple Verstappen at the famous Grand Prix.
