Arsenal are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they face Liverpool on Sunday.

The Gunners are four points behind the Merseyside club in the league table going into Sunday's clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta's side beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in midweek to bounce back from the defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League last weekend.

Arsenal will be forced to go into the game against Liverpool without several of their first-team stars, one of whom is William Saliba, who is suspended after picking up a red card in the defeat to Bournemouth.

Martin Odegaard is also unavailable with an ankle injury, with the Arsenal club captain joined by Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney in the treatment room.

There are also doubts about the fitness of Bukayo Saka, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrein Timber who all missed training on Friday.
