Invincible VS reveals original character Ella Mental

Ella Mental was created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker.

Skybound Entertainment appeared at The Game Awards to reveal the latest fighter for Invincible VS. Her name is Ella Mental, and unlike the characters featured in the upcoming fighting game, she’s an original character created specifically for Invincible VS.

Ella Mental made her debut in the newest Invincible VS trailer. The character was designed by Invincible creators Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, based on an early concept that never made it into the comic book or its television adaptation. The developers took that design and turned it into a full character for Invincible VS.

Ella Mental is played by musical artist Tierra Whack, who says she sees a lot of similarities between the character and herself. As for her gameplay, Ella Mental utilizes air, water, earth, and fire as she battles enemies. These powers were granted to her by an ancient totem that she inherited from her grandfather.

Skybound Entertainment also announced that Invincible VS will be released on April 30, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. For more news out of The Game Awards, Shacknews has you covered.
