Fatal Fury fans will also have something else to look forward to tonight. Following tonight's Grand Finals, City of the Wolves will add Fist of the North Star's Kenshiro as the game's next playable fighter.
"The time has come for [Kenshiro] to leave the post-apocalyptic world behind and take a trip to South Town," Fist of the North creator Tetsuo Hara said in a special video message released prior to Sunday's EVO Grand Finals. "No matter how times change, the determination to stay true to one's beliefs is something that will always inspire people. Whether you've been a fan of these series for years or are experiencing them for the first time, I hope you'll enjoy this version of Kenshiro that can only be found in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves."
Kenshiro raised many Fatal Fury fans' eyeballs since he was initially unveiled with the Season 2 roster reveal. Senior News Editor TJ Denzer recently tried him out and found that the Fist of the North Star protagonist will fit the City of the Wolves lineup just fine.
