EVO Singapore 2027 will be home to the 2026 Tekken World Tour Finals

The biggest of several EVO announcements was that the Tekken World Tour season will come to a close at the first EVO Singapore.

With only one more Grand Finals set to be contested at EVO 2026, EVO GM Rick 'The Hadou' Thiher took the stage to make a few announcements. The inaugural EVO Singapore finally has a date, set to take place from January 15-17. Notably, this event will also be home to the Tekken World Tour Finals.

The Tekken World Tour Finals is normally a standalone event, held at different venues around the world. This will be the first time that the end of the competitive Tekken season will play out at an official EVO event. The fact that it's at the very first EVO Singapore makes this announcement fairly significant. EVO Singapore will run from the Marina Bay Sands resort.

Other big EVO announcements included the next date for EVO Japan. EVO Japan 2027 will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from April 30 through May 2.
