How to make Rubber in Subnautica 2

I am rubber, and you are glue.

The search for resources and new materials in Subnautica 2 is eternal, and rubber is something you will need quite early in the game. This is where to find the resources that you need to make it, and some useful advice to make the rest of your time in the briny deep a bit easier.

How to get Rubber in Subnautica 2

To make rubber, you will need to harvest a plant called Lucifer's Rotsac. You will need to harvest two of these plants for each piece of rubber that you wish to make. Lucifer's Rotsac is found in the shallows around your lifepod when you first start playing. The plant consists of a bright orange seed sitting in a star-shaped cup, surrounded by long blue leaves with orange tips.

To harvest it, you just need to interact with it. Once you have at least two pieces, you can return to the lifepod and use the Fabricator to make them into rubber. It's a good idea to harvest this plant when you see it, as it's reasonably common in wreckage and older outposts, so once you get past the opening hours of the game, you should have little trouble finding it.
