How to complete the Shoring Up Defenses quest in ARC Raiders

Shoring Up Defenses will test your ability to navigate the Riven Tides map in ARC Raiders. Here's how to complete the quest.

Completing the Shoring Up Defenses quest in ARC Raiders takes you to both ends of Riven Tides, from the cranes of the Stacking Yard to the glitz of Hotel Panorama Azzurro. And between searching for specific enemies to shoot and quest objectives to complete, there’s a lot to do. Here’s how it all works.

How to complete the Shoring Up Defenses quest in ARC Raiders

Completing Shoring Up Defenses is time-consuming and a bit reliant on enemy spawns, but is otherwise fairly straightforward. You can complete the objectives in any order and in any number of raids, so don’t feel any pressure to do things quickly or efficiently.

The easier steps are the first two listed on your objectives: destroy five Wasps and three Fireflies. Your best bet there is to hang around the hotel area and swat them down as they spawn in the areas surrounding the POI.

If you want a more consistent way of spawning the enemies you need, a Snitch Scanner can at least get you the Wasps, if not the Fireflies.

How to find the Raider structure on the Stacking Yard Crane

For the third listed step, head to the Stacking Yard in the eastern section of the map and make your way to the platform midway up the crane. You don’t want to actually climb the support structures, just reach the main area where you have room to move.

In the center of that central platform is a ramshackle metal tent. Approach the legs of the tent and use a single unit of ARC Alloy to repair them. If you don’t have any ARC Alloy, there are plenty of enemies flitting about from which you can extract it.

How to find the shuttered windows in the hotel

Now for the fun part. The hotel. You’re looking for a specific room with a shuttered window. I recommend room 213, as it's more than easy to find.

It’s on the southeast side of the hotel on the second floor.

Head inside and interact with the shuttered window to complete this step.

Do all that, and you can return to Apollo for your reward.
