What is the release date of Jade Shadows: Constellations in Warframe?
Double trouble.
by Aidan O'Brien · ShacknewsWarframe never changes, so if you were expecting an update with free content, Warframes, and story soon, then you are in luck. Digital Extremes has confirmed the release date of the upcoming Jade Shadows: Constellations update, and it's likely sooner than you think.
What is the release date of Jade Shadows: Constellations in Warframe?
Jade Shadows: Constellations will launch for Warframe on June 17. This will be a continuation of the story started in Jade Shadows, as we learned more about Stalker, and then new addition to the game, Jade. This time around, the game is getting a very interesting new addition in Sirius and Orion, two beings who share the same Warframe.
"Our character design team really pushed themselves to the limit with creating two playable Warframes in one," said Megan Everett, Warframe Community Director. "It’s been so inspiring to see the gameplay and the narrative of this update seamlessly blend together. These two conflicted entities fighting for survival are bumping each other out of the player’s hands, eternally at war, while the story explores their complicated relationship with each other. The player has just as important a role, too; their choices in the first Jade Shadows Quest are reflected throughout scenes of this new Quest. This is the first time we’ve tried a ‘sequel’ Quest and a two-in-one character this way, so we’re frothing at the mouth to see how the community responds in June!"
Also included will be new story missions, two new Protoframes as Ryoku (ash) and Vena (Gardua) take each other on in Railjack battles, and new Incarnon weapons, which is always exciting. The Destreza, Obex, Stug, Ballistica, or Vectis will all be getting Incarnons, so you can expect them all to be added to the list of heavyweight, late-game viable options very soon. And, last but certainly not least, Styanax Prime will be the next prime addition, available for purchase or farming on June 17.
