Amazon (AMZN) Q2 2026 earnings results post major beat on EPS & revenue estimates

Amazon's Q2 2026 EPS more than doubled the expected results by Wall Street and Earnings Whisper.

Amazon (AMZN) posted its earnings results for Q2 2026, and the company more than overcame the estimates expected of its revenue and earnings-per-share (EPS) on the backs of its continuing growth of AI tech, web service and cloud computing business, online shopping, and other services.

Amazon posted its Q2 2026 earnings results on its investor relations website. The company posted a revenue of $200.61 billion, which was well above the $196.85 billion expected by Wall Street. On the EPS end, Amazon seems to have crushed estimates, landing at $5.75 per share. The Earnings Whisper called for $1.87 per share while Wall Street was looking for $1.83 per share.

Amazon continues to grow its profits through its investments in AI and accelerate its business in Amazon Web Services, belonging to Amazon’s Cloud segment where revenue was up 37% year-over-year. Amazon also continues to aggressively expand its Prime Video exclusives catalog with the likes of the Fallout series and an upcoming Warhammer 40K live-action series.
