Where to get Lead in Subnautica 2

You will need lead early. A lot of it.

by · Shacknews

An important resource that you will need early on in Subnautica 2 is lead. The ocean is a mighty big place, and it is filled with dangers, so this is where to go to get your hands on some. Remember to bring some fresh water and even food with you when exploring, and always make sure you can get back to the surface.

To find lead, you will need to swim 300 meters to the northeast of the life pod, then down to the ocean floor. Just dive into the water and make your way toward the massive coral structure in the distance.  You will find lead in the sandy areas at the bottom, maybe 40 to 60 meters down. It's a strange-looking purple material, and you can break it with your hand or with a survival tool.

You will be able to find multiple pieces of lead in this area, but you should be careful on the way there. There are some fish that will take a bite out of you, but the good news is that you should be able to find a water vent that will help you get back faster. Just keep an eye out for funnels of fast-moving water.
