She was 71.
Chaya Leah and her husband, Rabbi Rafael Lapidus obm directed the Iarjo Jabad Lavalle center in Buenos Aires, which includes a shul, classes on Torah and Chassidus, and held many programs.
In recent years, she battled a terrible illness.
She is survived by her children, Mrs. Ita Teitelbaum – Sherman Oaks, CA, Devorah Kozlovsky – Miami, FL, and R’ Sholom Lapidus – Buenos Aires.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Rafael Lapidus in Iyar 5783.
