by COLlive Editor · COLliveCrown Heights Rabbonim, schools, community organizations and safety agencies have joined together in a community-wide letter ahead of this year’s Simchas Beis Hashoeiva.
Following the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s changes, with residents and visitors noting a noticeably improved atmosphere and experience, the community is looking to build on that success this year.
The no street vending policy will once again be strictly enforced, this year covering the entire Kingston Avenue, from Empire Boulevard to Eastern Parkway.
Organizers are also working to further enhance the positive atmosphere and Simchas Beis Hashoeiva experience with special programming and additional initiatives, which will be announced in the coming days.
The NYPD and private security will enforce the no-vending policy, with stands, booths and tables removed.
The letter is signed by Crown Heights Rabbonim together with local schools, community and safety organizations, representing a united effort to make this year’s Simchas Beis Hashoeiva an even more uplifting experience.
