New Shluchim to Mazatlan, Mexico
Rabbi Chaim and Tzirl Raitport together with their son will be moving on Shlichus to Mazatlan, Mexico.
by COLlive Editor · COLliveAs we mark this auspicious day of Chof Av we are honored to announce that Rabbi Chaim and Tzirl Raitport together with their son will be moving on Shlichus to Mazatlan, Mexico.
Mazatlan is a coastal city in the state of Sinaloa, off the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Having no shluchim in the entire state the Raitports will not only be supporting the yidden of the city but the surrounding areas as well.
With thousands of Canadian and American expats and cruise ships constantly coming by, Mazatlan sees many yidden coming through waiting to connect to Hashem.
The Raitports have already gone to visit for yomim Tovim and have Baruch Hashem seen success.
“When we first were trying to find yidden each one felt they were the only Jew in the city. Baruch Hashem we had an incredible turnout on Purim and the Shabbos that followed. It really brought a sense of hope and community to the people there and gave us all a glimpse at what’s to come.”
On this auspicious day of Chof Av we ask each of you to open your hearts and hands and support the Rebbes shluchim. May the Aibishter bentch you with the promise of the Rebbe that those who donate on this day in honor of the Rebbes father see the Brachos be multiplied up to 500 times!
Wishing all a Ksiva Vachasima Tovah,
Chaim and Tzirl Raitport
