KDJA receives RM5,000 boost from minister for upcoming Kenyalang Journalism Award

KUCHING (Nov 20): The Kuching Division Journalists Association (KDJA) on Monday received a grant of RM5,000 from Minister of Transport Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin for the upcoming Kenyalang Journalism Award (KJA) 2024.

Lee presented the cheque to KDJA executive committee members after they paid a courtesy call on the minister at the State Legislative Assembly Complex to invite him to attend the event.

Receiving the cheque was KDJA vice president Zulazhar Sheblee, who was accompanied by treasurer Chong Kho Lee, vice secretary Nur Ashikin Louis and committee member Angeline Lim.

Lee expressed his support for KDJA and encouraged the association to continue its programmes next year for the benefit of members.
