Here’s Why ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Is on Monday Night Next Week

· Cosmopolitan

Dancing With the Stars is heading back for another week of twists, turns, lifts (when allowed), and chaos next week, but the show is deviating from its original schedule. While Dancing With the Stars typically airs on Tuesday nights (and will continue to do so throughout the rest of the season), next week’s episode airs on Monday, November 2.

Why, you ask? So that it doesn’t interfere with ABC’s election coverage on Tuesday, November 3, aka “ABC News Election Night: Vote 2026,” which airs from 8 to 11 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Monday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars will air at the show’s usual time: 8 p.m. ET. The theme, you ask? That’d be “Disney Night” (everyone’s favorite!) where the celebrities and their pro partners team up and dance to their favorite Disney songs (while dressed as Disney characters, obviously).

Also exciting? Grammy-winning actor and singer Cynthia Erivo will be joining the judges’ panel! According to reports, there will be two rounds in Monday’s episode: couples will dance their usual solo routines, as well as take part in a group dance. I’m assuming this means there will be some sort of ensemble Disney moment and I LITERALLY CANNOT WAIT.
