Here Are the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pros With the Most Wins
1. Derek Hough
· CosmopolitanDancing With the Stars is back for season 35 and it’s anyone’s guess who will take home this year’s Mirrorball Trophy. But some people to keep an eye on? Mark Ballas, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Witney Carson, Jenna Johnson—to name a few. Along with several other A-list pros, these four have racked up multiple wins over the years. But no one comes close to the reigning king of DWTS trophies, Derek Hough. On that note, presenting the Dancing With the Stars pros with the most wins!

Derek holds the record for the most Mirrorball Trophy wins out of any DWTS pro, so it’s no wonder he was hired as a full-time judge on the show: the man knows what he’s talking about. Derek’s winning streak started in season 7 (back in 2008) with celeb partner Brooke Burke. He then had back-to-back wins in season 10 and season 11 alongside Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey. After a few losses, he had back-to-back wins AGAIN in season 16 and season 17 with Kellie Pickler and Amber Riley. His final win was in season 21 with Bindi Irwin.
2. Mark Ballas

Mark (whose mom is famed ballroom dancer and DWTS: The Next Pro judge Shirley Ballas) won his second season with celeb partner Kristi Yamaguchi in season 6, and won again in season 8 with Shawn Johnson. After several seasons of losses and some time off, Mark won his third Mirrorball Trophy during season 31 alongside Charli D’Amelio.
3. Valentin Chmerkovskiy

Valentin (who’s married to fellow DWTS pro Jenna Johnson) won season 20 with celeb partner Rumer Willis in 2015. He’d been on the show for a while, so definitely a long time coming! Val went on to win season 23 with his celeb partner Laurie Hernandez, and then won season 32 with Xochitl Gomez.
4. Julianne Hough

Talent runs in the Hough family! Though she might not have as many wins as her brother, DWTS host Julianne Hough secured two Mirror Balls when she was a pro. She won season 4 with Apolo Ohno and then won once again during season 5 with Hélio Castroneves.
5. Jenna Johnson

Jenna officially joined DWTS as a pro in 2016 after several seasons as a troupe member. She ended up winning in her second season as a pro (season 26) with Adam Rippon, and won again a couple years ago with Joey Graziadei in season 33.
6. Peta Murgatroyd

Peta (who’s married to DWTS pro and Val’s brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy) became a pro in 2013 after starting off as a member of the show’s dance troupe. Peta won season 14 with celeb partner Donald Driver—a huge deal considering she was eliminated first in the season before. She then came through again for season 22 with her celeb partner Nyle DiMarco.
7. Cheryl Burke

Cheryl won the very first season of Dancing With the Stars she was cast in (season 2) alongside Drew Lachey. She then turned around and won again with Emmitt Smith. She’s a legend!
8. Kym Johnson

Kym left DWTS back in 2017, but she had plenty to be proud of. The former pro won season 9 with Donny Osmond, as well as season 12 with Hines Ward. She’s since returned to the show as a guest judge.
9. Witney Carson

Witney is the most recent winner of DWTS! After winning season 19 with her celeb partner Alfonso Ribeiro (who now co-hosts the show), she won season 34 with Robert Irwin.
