Does ‘Wicked’ Have Any Post-Credit Scenes?

Are there any end-credit scenes in Wicked? How many?

As we already know, Wicked is now out in theaters but it's only just part of the story. That's right, the movie is only the first half of the musical and there's still Part 2 to look forward to when it comes out next year. That being said, this means that there could totally be some surprises at the end of the film that can tell us what is going to happen next, right? Well, considering that so many of our favorite movies now include post-credit scenes, it's not too shocking to also expect one from Wicked. So do you have to stick after the credits for a special magical surprise?

Here’s everything you need to know about the end-credit scenes in Wicked.

Unfortunately for us and our fellow Ozians, there weren't any special scenes after the end of the credits. Yes, we totally waited until the very end so you don't have to. And while we already know what to expect from Wicked Part 2 thanks to the iconic Broadway musical, we didn't get to see any clues of it at the end of the first part.

That being said, at least you can very easily walk out after the credits are done. And with the long runtime, we always welcome the chance to head out.

So, wait, we didn't get anything cool at the end?

I mean, the first part ends with "Defying Gravity" which you will definitely need several minutes to recover from because it is that good. However, we do get a small peek at everyone looking at Elphaba after she leaves the Emerald City. So basically, we kind of got a small hint at the end of the movie anyway. Either way, you won't leave disappointed.

Anything else we should know?

There's still a whole other part of Wicked as the second part of the movie covers the second act of the musical. The film won't come out for another year, but no matter, you can always rewatch Wicked or listen to the original soundtrack before then.
