Samsung Wallet's new Trips feature shows your travel timeline

Samsung has announced a new feature for Samsung Wallet today. It's called Trips and it "consolidates travel plans", "offering a single access point for all travel details - eliminating the need to juggle multiple apps and confirmations", according to the Korean company.

The new section comes with a Trip timeline, which brings all travel-related plans together in a single view, "adding structure to busy itineraries and providing a smoother journey from start to finish". When you add eligible items to Samsung Wallet, Trips will group them together based on time and location.

Trips supports bookings for hotels, flight itineraries, car rentals, excursions, as well as tickets for buses, trains, theme parks, and sporting events. It gives you the ability to manually add itinerary items and you can also include memos alongside saved items.

Trips will be available in Samsung Wallet in Korea, the US, and the UK starting later this month.
