Leadership Birmingham’s Justice League Career Exploration Day was held Friday at Woodlawn High School.

The event connected Woodlawn scholars with professionals representing a variety of career fields through an interactive, small-group format.

Rather than formal presentations or recruiting, speakers shared information about the careers available in their fields, the education and training pathways required — including opportunities that do not require a four-year college degree — and typical salary ranges.

Birmingham City Schools students used an interview form to guide their questions and learn directly from professionals about potential career paths.
