‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2 Sets François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Sophie Nélisse and More Returning Cast Members

François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. will reprise their roles as Scott and Kip for the second season of “Heated Rivalry,” joining Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams for the hockey drama. 

Returning alongside Arnaud and G.K. for the sophomore season are Sophie Nélisse as Rose, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova as Svetlana, Callan Potter as Hayden and Benjamin Roy as JJ. Kamilla Kowal will reprise her role as Hayden’s wife, Jackie, alongside Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh as Shane’s parents.

Previously announced cast members for Season 2 include Justice Smith as Harris, Charlie Gillespie as Troy, Daniel Diemer as Ryan, Shaheen Jafargholi as Fabian, Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, Edvin Ryding as Luca, Robert Naylor as Wyatt, Sabrina Jalees as Farah and Priyanka as Tarek.

Season 2 adapts the second book in Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” series “The Long Game,” which sees Shane and Ilya 10 years after their relationship began. The second season will also feature elements from Reid’s fifth book, “Role Model.” 

Smith and Gillespie will lead Season 2 alongside returning stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who had their breakout roles in Season 1 as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander, respectively. Season 1, per the official logline, followed “what began as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies” and “evolved into a years-long journey of love, denial and self-discovery.”

“Heated Rivalry” is created by Jacob Tierney, who also serves as writer, director and executive producer. The series is produced by Accent Aigu Entertainment in association with Bell Media’s Crave, with Brendan Brady and Jayme Alter Wilson executive producing. Lori Fischburg and Liane Cunje are producers alongside Reid, who serves as consulting producer. Mike Goldbach co-wrote Season 2.
