Lady Gaga Concert Film ‘Mayhem Requiem’ to Premiere on Apple Music and Show for One Night Only in AMC Theaters

by · Variety

Lady Gaga has announced that her long-awaited “Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem” will be released on Apple Music on Thursday at 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET, and will also debut at the same time during one-night-only screenings at 15 AMC Theaters in select cities.

Directed and produced by Morningview, “Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem” is a filmed live performance of a one-off show that Gaga staged at Los Angeles’ Wiltern on January 14. During the set, Gaga performed an entirely reimagined version of her 2025 album “Mayhem,” which won best pop vocal album at the Grammy Awards this past February.

“Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem” is being billed as the “final chapter of her Mayhem era,” according to a release. It picks up after the “Mayhem Ball” and stars Gaga as “the phantom of her own gothic opera.” “She spends most of the intimate evening at The Wiltern in Los Angeles at the piano or synths,” reads the release, “where she helms reimagined arrangements of ‘Abracadabra,’ ‘Disease’ and the rest of its tracklist among the cracked columns and scattered ruins of the Mayhem Ball.”

Fans can register here for free to watch the performance at the 15 different AMC locations, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington, DC.

For those who can’t attend the screenings, “Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem” will premiere concurrently on Apple Music as a livestream that does not require a subscription. Following the premiere, the full performance, along with a Spatial Audio live album, will be available anytime on demand exclusively for Apple Music subscribers.
