Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall’ Concert Movie Acquired by Janus Films, Criterion

Janus Films and Criterion have acquired North American rights to “Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall,” a concert film shot and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

The concert was captured on 35mm and 16mm film during a sold-out solo performance from the Geese frontman at Carnegie Hall in December 2025. Geese kicked off its Getting Killed world tour in October 2025. The band’s third headlining tour concludes in November.

The music for “Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall” was recorded and produced for the film and live album from music producer Ariel Rechtshaid. The live album will be released Oct. 9 from Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam.

The film is co-produced by Bennie Safdie and produced by Sara Murphy, Erica Frauman and Maggie Ambrose.

Winter has been the frontman for Geese since it formed in 2016. The band’s breakthrough album, “Getting Killed,” was released by Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam in 2025. He released his debut solo album, “Heavy Metal,” in 2024.

The concert film’s roadshow engagements in theaters start Nov. 20. Tickets go on sale Sept. 17. The film tour’s dates are below:
