“Made sure we’re all in the photo” – M’sian Family Hilariously Edits Cat Blended into Foggy Mountain Clouds in Holiday Photo

Missing out on a family holiday due to work or other commitments can leave anyone feeling left out. But one Malaysian family found a creative way to include their cat in their holiday photo, even if it wasn’t physically there!

In a post on Threads, which has garnered over 148,000 likes, user @sabrina.azhan shared a family holiday photo taken against a scenic mountain backdrop. What made the photo stand out was the image of their cat subtly blended into the low-hanging fog, making the feline look like a giant, ghostly spirit watching over the mountain peaks.

“Now why my family edited our cat into the photo like this,” Sabrina wrote in her viral post.

“My brother made sure ALL of us were in the photo!”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Sabrina explained the funny backstory behind the dramatic edit and how the idea originally came to life.

“I couldn’t follow them on vacation, so I actually edited myself into the photo first.
“Then my brother took the photo and edited our cat, Lyla, into it as well!,” she shared with WORLD OF BUZZ.

Because Sabrina and Lyla had stayed behind at home together, her brother took it upon himself to ensure that absolutely no family member was left out of the holiday memories, even if it meant placing Lyla high up in the clouds!

Sabrina said she found the photo so funny that she had to share it on her page, adding that she had only expected her friends and community to see it and never anticipated it would gain so much attention.

“Lyla has a flair for dramatic poses!”

Sabrina shared that looking back at the overwhelming response, she totally understands why the post captured the internet’s heart.

Sabrina said Lyla has a knack for being cute and funny, often striking unusual poses around the house. She added that the family has even dedicated an entire photo album to the cat’s antics.

“Looking back at it, I understand why. Lyla has a certain flair that everything she does makes her extra cute and funny. She does these crazy poses at home all the time, we even have a whole photo album dedicated to her!” she said.
