M’sian Mum Doesn’t Notice Her Car’s Exhaust Tip Fell Off Until Her Child’s Teacher Messages Her A Week Later

Taking to Threads, @orkedbyazurabohari shared that her child’s teacher had sent her a picture of a metallic exhaust tip, asking if it belonged to her car.
She only found out after her child’s teacher sent her a photo
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she admitted that she was unsure whether the exhaust tip was supposed to make any noise or even serve a functional purpose, as she did not know if it was a working component or merely a decorative piece. As a result, she did not realise it was missing.
She said she only found out that the part had been missing since the previous week after her child’s teacher contacted her. After collecting it from the school, she headed to a local workshop to have it welded back onto her car properly.
“When the teacher sent me the photo and asked if my exhaust had fallen off, I just laughed. The funniest part was finding out that it had apparently been missing since the previous week!
“After I collected the exhaust from my child’s school, I took it straight to a welding shop to get it fixed. This time, I told myself I wanted it welded on properly, so securely that it would stay there until my child retires!,” she said.
Juggling family and work can get hectic
She admitted that between juggling her own business and managing her own personal responsibilities and commitments, life gets so hectic that major details can easily slip through the cracks. Her relatable post struck a chord with thousands of netizens who praised her lighthearted attitude and shared their own experiences of “parent brain” moments.
“I guess that’s the reality of being a busy parent. Between sending the kids to school, managing the household and running my own bridal business, there are just so many things going on every day. Sometimes, you’re so caught up with everything that you don’t even notice something like this!” she added to WORLD OF BUZZ.
