Form 1 girl in Sabah reported missing after being dropped off at school
Jaime described her niece, Gwen Mia, as being about 155cm tall, with long black hair. She was last seen wearing her school pinafore, white shoes, and carrying a white bag with a floral pattern.
“My niece, Gwen Mia, was dropped off at SM Lok Yuk Likas, Kota Kinabalu this morning (27 July 2026). But when her mum went to pick her up in the evening, she wasn’t there. We’ve checked with the school and her friends, but no one has seen her,” Jaime wrote.
She has since appealed to the public for help, especially parents who may have dashcam footage from around the time Gwen was dropped off.
“Please, if you’re a parent with a dashcam who dropped off your child at SK Lok Yuk Likas or SMK Lok Yuk Likas between 5:50 AM and 6:15 AM, please check your footage to see if it captured a red sedan parked across the road. If you have any relevant footage, please contact me at 012-884 0233.
“If anyone has seen her or knows where she is, please let us know. She may have gone home with a friend or gotten confused about the pickup arrangements. We just want to make sure she’s safe. If you know anything, please contact me. We’d also really appreciate it if you could share this,” Jaime added.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Jaime said there had been no new updates on Gwen’s whereabouts at the time of writing, as the family continues to hope for her safe return.
