A massive tree suddenly uprooted and came crashing down onto several vehicles in Taman Sena, Perlis, leaving behind a scene of crushed cars and shattered debris.
A piece of chocolate that saved a child’s life
The shocking incident was shared on Threads by user @cikways, capturing widespread attention due to how close the situation came to turning into a tragedy.
According to details gathered from the scene, a family had a miraculous escape after a simple moment may have saved their child’s life.
Witnesses said the child was initially sitting in the front seat of the car. However, just moments before the accident, the father gave the child a KitKat bar, prompting the child to move to the back seat.
That split-second move placed the child safely in the back seat, just moments before a massive tree suddenly uprooted and came crashing down directly onto the car.
“The child was originally sitting in the front seat, but the father gave them a KitKat, so they moved to the back seat just before the tree fell,” the user said.
Miraculously, no injuries reported
Photos taken after the incident show the sheer force of the impact, with the enormous tree trunk and its uprooted roots crushing and pinning several parked vehicles. One green car was left badly damaged, with its boot forced open and its contents exposed.
Yet despite the terrifying extent of the damage, reports from people at the scene indicated that no one was injured.
“I just happened to pass by the area. From what I heard, thankfully, no one was injured,” the eyewitness added.
