Tilta Khronos Creator Kit turns the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max into a camera rig

OPPO built the Find X10 Pro Max as a video phone first, with three 200MP cameras, 4K at 60 and 120 frames per second, 8K at 30, Open Gate recording and O-Log2. Tilta’s Khronos Creator Kit builds a full camera rig around that phone, and it does it with hardware instead of workarounds: an aluminum cage case, a powered focus handle, active cooling, a variable ND filter and a tripod, all in one 11-piece bundle.

Pricing is straightforward. At $512.10, down from a $569.00 list price, you save $56.90, and that introductory price holds through November 19. Every piece in the box is fitted for the Pro Max body only, in Space Gray, and the whole rig assembles around a case that stays on the phone full time.

Khronos starts with an aluminum cage-style case that the phone snaps into, with a quick-release fit and locking clamp mounts around the frame. You’re not clamping a generic holder onto a bare phone and hoping it stays put. Case and phone move as one unit, and accessories lock onto the case instead of pinching the handset.

Built into that case are electronic contact points. Power from the Focus PD Handle runs through the case to clamp-mounted accessories, so a light or the cooling unit draws from the handle instead of carrying its own separate battery and cable for every shoot.

One 67mm filter mount covers every lens

A 67mm thread filter adapter slides onto the case and clicks into place, and one filter then covers all of the phone’s lenses at once. Anyone who has stacked tiny clip-on filters over individual phone lenses will feel the difference immediately. Standard 67mm filters fit, and step-up rings widen the options further.

Tilta includes a 67mm variable ND filter in the box, adjustable from 1 to 5 stops with stepless control, so you can hold a proper shutter speed in bright light without swapping glass. A separate telephoto lens adapter mounts OPPO’s Hasselblad Teleconverter onto the case for the long shots, though the teleconverter itself is OPPO’s and is sold separately.

A handle that runs focus, zoom and record

Focus PD Handle pairing runs over Bluetooth and works directly in the phone’s native camera app, with no third-party app sitting in between. A front dial controls focus or zoom, a dedicated record button sits under your finger, and the grip puts both where a camera operator expects them.

Inside the handle is a battery that charges over USB-C, and it does double duty. An integrated USB-C cable powers the phone during long takes, while the same battery feeds the case contact points described above. One power source runs the phone and the mounted accessories, which keeps a long recording session simple to manage.

Cooling, light and a tripod that deploys itself

Long 4K and 8K takes heat a phone up fast, so the kit includes a cooling system built around a 22W variable-frequency heat dissipator. It runs off USB-C external power or straight off the PD Handle, and it’s there for the extended sessions that Open Gate and O-Log2 recording invite.

A fast-deploy tripod rounds out the support side, with one-touch legs that open on landing, a height-adjustable center section and a multi-angle ball head, and it doubles as a selfie stick when you need reach instead of a locked-off shot. A cold shoe receiver, an adjustable top handle and a Mini LED light fill the remaining slots, and everything packs into the included Khronos carrying case.

Built around the way the Pro Max shoots

Our own look at 6 reasons to choose OPPO’s Find X10 Pro Max over an iPhone 18 Pro Max made the case for the hardware, and OPPO’s work with Blackmagic Design on the Blackmagic Camera app points the same way.

Our coverage of the OPPO Find X10 Ultra leak ran this week. One real limit applies to this kit: the Pro Max is a global-market phone rather than a US retail one, so US buyers are creators who imported the phone and want a proper rig for it. Tilta ships the kit from its US store.

A fitted bundle for serious phone shooters

Serious shooting on the Pro Max gets the cleanest rig path here: a powered handle, real filtration, active cooling and a tripod in one fitted bundle at $512.10. Handheld, casual phone video doesn’t need eleven pieces of rig hardware, and they’ll sit in the carrying case. Creators working in the Blackmagic Camera app are the buyers Tilta built this for.
