Up to 80 hours of battery life means fewer charging stops
Huawei rates the earbuds for up to 10 hours of music playback on a single charge with active noise cancellation turned off. The charging case extends total playback to 80 hours, giving you several days of listening before the case needs recharging.
Switch on ANC, and battery life drops to seven hours per charge or 57 hours with the case. Huawei measured these figures in laboratory conditions using AAC audio at 50% volume. Seven hours is enough to cover a long commute, several meetings, or an afternoon of music before returning the earbuds to their case.
Fast charging provides up to four hours of playback from a 10-minute charge when ANC is disabled. You need a sufficiently charged case or wired power source to use this feature, making it useful when your earbuds are running low just before leaving home.
USB-C handles wired charging, and the case contains a 920 mAh battery. Huawei specifies approximately three hours to charge the case alone or four hours with the earbuds inside.
If you regularly forget to charge your earbuds, the 80-hour combined battery rating is a strong reason to choose this model. You can get through several days of moderate listening before plugging in the case.
Four ANC modes let you control background noise
Crowded trains, busy cafés, and shared offices create different listening conditions. Huawei addresses those environments with active noise cancellation rated for a maximum reduction of 52 dB in specific frequency ranges.
Four modes let you adjust cancellation according to your surroundings. Ultra targets louder environments such as public transportation, General handles everyday background noise, and Cosy provides lighter cancellation for quieter spaces. Dynamic automatically adjusts noise reduction as surrounding conditions change.
You can use stronger cancellation during a commute and switch to a lighter setting once you reach the office. Dynamic mode handles those changes automatically, reducing the need to adjust settings throughout the day.
Three microphones work with an AI noise reduction algorithm during calls. Huawei designed the system to filter surrounding noise and improve voice pickup when you’re speaking outdoors or in crowded environments.
Transparency mode lets surrounding sounds through when you need to hear announcements or speak with someone nearby. A two-second touch-and-hold gesture switches between noise cancellation, transparency, and off modes.
If you move between noisy and quiet environments throughout the day, the four ANC settings give you direct control over how much background sound reaches your ears. Huawei’s 52 dB figure represents maximum laboratory performance, with less cancellation at higher frequencies such as voices and horns.
LDAC audio and a 10-band equalizer give you control over sound
A 10 mm dynamic driver handles audio playback, while LDAC support allows compatible devices to transmit audio at rates reaching 990 kbps. That higher transmission rate supports high-resolution wireless audio when paired with a compatible source.
Huawei also includes AAC, SBC, and mSBC codec support. Android devices with LDAC compatibility can use the higher-bitrate connection, while iPhones rely on AAC for wireless playback.
Four preset sound modes provide quick adjustments for different listening preferences. If you want more control, a 10-band equalizer lets you fine-tune individual frequency ranges.
You can increase bass for music, adjust midrange frequencies for vocals, or change treble according to your preferences. Huawei Audio Connect provides access to the equalizer, firmware updates, customizable gestures, and an earbud-finding feature.
If you enjoy adjusting your audio settings, the equalizer gives you more flexibility than fixed sound presets alone. LDAC adds another option for listeners using compatible Android devices.
Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connectivity make switching easier
Moving between your phone and laptop often means reconnecting wireless earbuds. Bluetooth 6.0 and simultaneous dual-device connectivity let this model maintain connections to two compatible devices at once.
Huawei supports Android, iOS, EMUI, and HarmonyOS devices. You can keep your phone and another device connected while switching between calls, music, and other audio.
Touch controls are built into the earbud stems. Double-tapping plays or pauses audio and answers or ends calls, while triple-tapping skips tracks. You can customize supported gestures through Huawei’s companion app.
Each earbud weighs approximately 4.3 grams, and three silicone ear tip sizes are included to accommodate different ears. The charging case has a rounded design with a frosted matte finish.
Blue, white, and black color options are available. IP55 dust and water resistance protects the earbuds against sweat and splashes, making them useful for workouts and outdoor activities. The charging case is not water-resistant and needs to stay dry.
If you regularly use a phone and laptop together, dual-device connectivity removes the need to disconnect and reconnect manually. The lightweight construction and splash resistance also make this a practical choice for commuting and exercise.
Long battery life is the biggest reason to buy
Huawei combines extended battery endurance, adjustable noise cancellation, LDAC audio, and dual-device connectivity in one pair of wireless earbuds. The 80-hour combined playback rating stands out, while the sound controls and Bluetooth features cover everyday listening needs.
