Three Irish people killed, one injured after Spain crash

Three Irish people have died and another Irish person is seriously injured following a road crash in Spain.

Local media in Spain reported that the crash occurred in Malaga in the south of the country in the early hours of the morning.

In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the incident and is providing consular assistance to the families involved.

It added that the Department does not comment on the specifics of individual cases.
