Hakeem Jeffries just doesn’t want to know about the monsters he’s trying to elect
· New York Post“I haven’t followed these allegations closely,” pleaded House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries when pushed on one of the hottest stories in DC and nationally, Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner’s ugly alleged past with women.
He then dodged another question about Platner’s antisemitic efforts to paint his opponent as an Israeli pawn and refused to engage about New Jersey House nominee Dr. Adam Hamawy’s links to al Qaeda and friendship with convicted terrorist Omar Abdel-Rahman, the “blind sheikh.”
Jeffries did volunteer that he’s 100% against “violence against women” and antisemitism, too — but Fox host Jaqui Heinrich would have to ask the candidates themselves about all this, because he knows nothing.
What, is he supposed to pay attention to the news or something?
No, he’s too busy trying to elect these Democrats to consider whether they might be monsters.
His only counter to Heinrich was to wave at Republican haters, blithely ignoring how the GOP has been pushing out antisemitic loons like Reps. Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, even as Jeffries & Co. tolerate (or even cheer) extremists like Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.
Jeffries won’t even comment on vile Platner lies such as: “A staggering one-third of her money raised this quarter came directly from AIPAC. Senator Collins is bought and paid for by BenjaminNetanyahu and she votes accordingly.”
She gets less than 3% of her cash from AIPAC, which is funded completely by Americans, even as Democrats’ huge dark-money network gets tens of millions from overseas interests.
We’re sure Hakeem will say he knows nothing about all that, too: As long as it helps Democrats take over Congress, he’ll keep his eyes wide shut.
For Jeffries, “leadership” means willful ignorance about any facts that might get in the way of taking power.
