Isaiah Whitehead soaks up Seton Hall homecoming as he strives for all-Pirates alum TBT team: ‘Still a family’

· New York Post

Isaiah Whitehead smiled as he looked around Walsh Gymnasium.

It was good to be home in South Orange, N.J. — and for him, Seton Hall will always be home — even if the result was disappointing.

Whitehead was unable to play Tuesday night in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) — he was sidelined by a wrist injury. The team he helped put together along with sports agent, attorney and Seton Hall alum Ryan Mulvaney, Hall In, was crushed by Syracuse’s Boeheim’s Army 82-52 in the first game of a three-game series.

But he looked at this as a start, hoping to make this team something Seton Hall alums will be proud of. The winner of the tournament receives a $2 million prize.
