Bengals vs. Falcons prediction: Bijan Robinson will end his touchdown drought in Spain
· New York PostHola, aficionados al fútbol.
And a special welcome to those of you who set your alarms early.
Top of the top.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals (6-2) fly into Madrid, Spain, on a three-game win streak, hoping to contain Bijan Robinson and the Falcons (3-5).
The Bengals are 3-point favorites, with the over/under at 52.5 total points on BetMGM.
Bengals vs. Falcons prediction, best bet
Cincinnati needed overtime to avoid an embarrassing upset against the Titans, winning 43-36 last week. Burrow put up video game-like numbers, while Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combined for 21 receptions, 296 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.
Their offense averages 29.4 points per game, second-best in the league, and ranks 6th in EPA per play, according to NFL Savant. Cincy’s passing attack remains a force, but its stagnant rushing production and defense raise questions ahead of this International matchup.
Especially given that they allowed 36 points to the lowly Titans and were allergic to tackling Tony Pollard, who shredded them for 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
If there’s anyone itching to play a struggling run defense, it’ll be Robinson and the Falcons.
Atlanta aimed to gain ground in the NFC South divisional race in their Week 8 trip to Tampa Bay.
However, those hopes were washed away, literally and figuratively. Torrential downpour and slippery field conditions had the Birds’ offense all out of sorts, leading to an ugly shutout loss.
Robinson rushed for 76 yards but failed to score a touchdown, extending his scoreless streak to four games. However, across most books, the NFL’s leading rusher anytime odds are around -250 in this contest.
Entering Week 9, Robinson is tied with Kenneth Walker III as one of only two running backs to record a 40-plus and 50-plus yard run this season, each doing it twice.
Despite a retooled interior defensive line, the Bengals have struggled to stop explosive plays out of the backfield (allowing 4.8 yards per carry), specifically stretch runs and outside handoffs.

Look for Robinson to cross the pylon and snap his scoreless streak, while pairing it with Atlanta to keep the game within reach after a half of play in Madrid.
The Bengals have been plagued by slow starts, an issue that has hurt them all season.
While their offense has been red-hot lately, Stefanski has plenty of experience neutralizing it, having coached against Cincinnati many times with the Browns.
The Play: SGP (+125, BetMGM) – (Bijan Robinson to score a TD, -235) + (Falcons +2.5 1st Half spread, -110)
