Dodgers star Kiké Hernandez gets $45K custom necklace ahead of playoff run

Kiké Hernandez is bringing plenty of diamonds to the MLB postseason.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star recently scored a blinged-out, custom necklace that’s worth as much as a sports car, according to Southern California based jewelry store Happy Jewelers.

The precious stone experts said in a statement to the California Post on Monday that they recently passed off the chain to the three-time World Series champion, while explaining the item is dripping in gems.

The necklace features 14 karats of gold, 173.45 carat total weight of lab-grown pink diamonds and 80 graduated bezel-set diamonds.

In total, Happy Jewelers said the piece weighs 68 grams and is worth around $45,000.

Hernandez now won’t have to wait long to show it off in the playoff spotlight.

While the Dodgers have a first-round bye, they’ll kick off their run to a third straight World Series title beginning on Saturday.

The No. 2-seeded National League West champs will play the winner of the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves wild-card matchup, and while the start of Game 1 of the five-game series has not yet been announced, it will go down at Dodger Stadium.
