Democrats embraced tapestry of lies about ‘inhumane’ conditions at Delaney Hall

· New York Post

Radicals have besieged Delaney Hall in Newark for weeks, with nightly rioting and harassment of workers — supposedly because ICE is subjecting the detainees to horrible conditions.

Democratic electeds who exercised their rights to inspect the facility came out recounting complaints from those inside — but now GOP Rep. Jeff Van Drew (NJ) has done his own walk-through, and notes the detainees have access to “full soccer fields and an excellent gym” with squat, fly bench-press and leg machines.

Not to mention the library computer rooms, yoga sessions and even aromatherapy.

“We really looked around kind of every nook and cranny. It was immaculate,” said Van Drew.

Hmm: Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) says maybe the “unsanitary conditions” he reported the week before somehow improved, though we wonder if the carton of “completely congealed” milk he saw had been set aside by a detainee to create “proof” of mistreatment.

Without question, “advocates” for illegal migrants can brief these men and women on what grievances to report — just as advocates for years told would-be border-hoppers what to say to the Biden-era Border Patrol to get their asylum claims provisionally accepted so they could vanish into the US interior.

That is: They know exactly what to tell the likes of New York Dem Reps. Jerry Nadler and Adriano Espaillat so the pols can report “inhumane” treatment after their visits — and so offer justification to the protesters encamped outside, including the violent antifa types who out-and-out assault Delaney Hall after dark.

And the professional rioters are backed by a whole national network of supporters who supply paramilitary gear and other goodies.

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill has played patsy from the start; it took a Post exposé to push her into letting local law enforcement intervene in these standoffs, and it looks like she’s still letting the hard left’s demands guide her approach.

Democrats and their media allies embrace this tapestry of lies because it serves their obsessively anti-Trump agenda; the truth doesn’t matter when there’s political power to be won.
