MMA rankings October 2026: Alexander Volkanovski is special; Movsar Evloev just isn’t

· New York Post

Color me unsurprised that Alexander Volkanovski once again returned Down Under with gold still around his waist.

Was age (38) working against him? Yeah.

Has his chin been checked a few times the last three years? Sure.

Was opponent Movsar Evloev a bona fide top contender in an era when those don’t always get the title shot? Mhmm.
