As in: Whew, that was close to a damaging direct hit.

“I think one of the things that’s amazing to me … You have the advantage that the fans don’t have,” Harbaugh said to a group of reporters. “You’re standing right here on the sideline. You’re seeing how fast these guys move and how big they are.

“And there are 22 guys intersecting full speed. I’m just surprised that there are not more collisions in the intersection, which goes to show you how talented these guys are. I think it’s across the league in the NFL. These guys, for them to practice fast like this on a no-contact basis and not run into each other is just an incredible thing. It’s a testament to their abilities.’’
