How does a £89 'mystery' holiday work?
Each £89 voucher purchased is like a raffle ticket with a guaranteed prize every time. You and your travel companion will be headed off somewhere nice, you'll just have to wait a little while to find out all the details.
The Mystery Holiday deals are based on two adults sharing, so customers will need to purchase two vouchers to qualify for the £89 ticket price. This price is valid for departure dates in November and December 2024, as well as January, February, March, May and June 2025 departures.
Flights and accommodation are included in the price, but upgrades and alternative flights may be available for an additional fee.
Finally, Mystery Holiday destinations are drawn at random based on the customer's preferred travel dates, as provided by the customer when they redeem their vouchers. You can find the terms and conditions in full, here.
When a Wowcher customer called Naomi took the plunge with a Mystery Holiday voucher, she wasn't sure what to expect.
Leaving a five-star review on the Wowcher website, she said: "From start to finish, our experience with Wowcher was amazing! We had won three nights in Dubai for our £198 spend. The flights with Emirates were a fantastic experience. Our accommodation in Dubai was fab - made extra special by the hotel staff at the Sea View hotel and we crammed as much into our time as we could."
Delighted with their allocated destination, Naomi added: "Obviously, we were very lucky to be selected for this particular break, but as someone who travels five to six times a year on holiday, I couldn’t have been happier with the experience you gave us, especially as it was a surprise present for my partner."
One traveller who was less impressed with their Mystery Holiday left a review on Trustpilot claiming the deal was "not what it seems". The buyer explained: "Advertise mystery holidays for £99pp. But when trying to redeem they have nothing for this price and simply try and upsell other holidays."
