In the days prior to the sudden and tragic death of Liam Payne, his partner Kate Cassidy shared one of their last moments together with a heartfelt tribute.

Captured in a TikTok post, the former One Direction star was seen enjoying a serene horseback ride in the countryside with his girlfriend. Donning casual attire, Liam was pictured on horseback, alongside a caption from Kate that read: "I am very grateful for the simple things in life."

The world was left in shock over the untimely passing of Liam Payne when TMZ broke the news of his fatal fall from the third storey of a high-end hotel. The terrible event took place at the Hotel CasaSur, sited within the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, with local news covering the incident shortly after it happened.

Just mere hours before he died, Liam had been engaging with fans through social media, sharing images of his food and expressing eagerness about polo playing. On several video posts, the 30 year old musician captured his time with Kate as they had breakfast, offering followers an intimate look at their morning spent at a companion's residence.

Commenting on their leisurely start, Liam said in one of these videos, "This is the breakfast table, just enjoying breakfast and coffee even though it's 1pm," with Kate playfully calling them out in the background, remarking they were "losers" for starting their day so late, reports the Express.

Liam and Kate had been an item since October 2022 and stepped out together on the red carpet for the first time two months later. They looked to be going from strength to strength, with Kate joining Liam at the premiere of All of Those Voices, Louis Tomlinson's documentary - his ex-One Direction bandmate.

Kate took to social media after the event, stating, "What a crazy eye-opening experience! " and she extended her praise to Louis: "@Louist91 well done on such a beautiful film that everybody will love."

This new romance blossomed following Liam's final split from model Maya Henry in May 2022, after they went through multiple breakups and reconciliations. The pop star seemed to have found solace once more with Kate, but their world was shattered by an awful turn of events during their getaway to Argentina.

TMZ reports that prior to the devastating incident, Liam had an episode where he smashed his laptop in an erratic fit. Hotel employees had to step in, escorting him back to his suite.

Later, a profoundly grim discovery was made by police: Liam had tragically died.

After leaving Liam behind in Argentina just three days before the heartbreaking news of his passing, Kate is now surrounded by new revelations concerning the lead up to his unexpected death.

Insiders speaking with TMZ revealed that Liam Payne and his partner, Kate Cassidy, ventured to Argentina on September 30, documenting their trip on social channels. However, it was reported that Cassidy departed from Argentina on October 14, with Payne remaining on his own at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Kate gave her Snapchat followers a glimpse into her journey back to the States, showcasing her stylish outfits and the food she enjoyed during the lengthy flight.
