St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Jordan Walker defeated Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber to secure the 2026 Home Run Derby win.

Both MLB stars put on a show during the annual event, taking place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Monday, July 13. Broadcast on Netflix, the Home Run Derby was full of fanfare, and while Schwarber was the hometown favorite, Walker came out on top.

"I can't even describe how it means to win it," Walker said after securing his win. "It was a lot of swings, a lot of pressure, but I think I just had fun no matter what. Like, every round, I was having a good time."

Schwarber went first in the final round, hitting 11 home runs. When Walker stepped up to the plate, he nabbed just one more than his opponent.

Walker said he "can't hate" Phillies fans for their support for Schwarber - even though he was booed all night.

"I think it's pretty special because they love their players and that's what you want from your home," Walker added, while holding the trophy.
