A motorcyclist was injured Saturday in a crash with a vehicle along a busy stretch of Blackstone Avenue near the River Park shopping area.
Officers responded to the crash just before 9 p.m., on Blackstone Avenue, just north of El Paso Avenue, according to Marcus Gray III.
Officers found the motorcyclist and rendered aid before he was taken to a hospital. His injuries are non-life-threatening, Gray said.
Gray said the vehicle was making a left turn into the River Park parking lot when the crash occurred, as the motorcycle was going north on Blackstone.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating.
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash and determining fault.
Drugs and alcohol have been ruled out, Gray said.
Part of Blackstone was closed off while detectives investigated the crash.
