State Center Community College District election night roundup. Terance Frazier is behind

· The Fresno Bee

Now that the polls are closed, here’s a glance at early results for the State Center Community College District trustee race.

Magdalena Gomez, the incumbent first elected to represent Area 4 in 2018, ran unopposed. Here’s what the early-return ballots show for the contested races as of around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 1

So far, incumbent Destiny Rodriguez is leading to represent Area 1 with 60.96% of early votes.

Business owner Nicholas Salinas has 26.38% of votes so far. Omair Javid, an insurance agent, has 11.57%.

Area 5

As for Area 5, Marcos Osorio, an educator, is leading with 45.44% of early votes.

Business developer Terance Frazier, husband of Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria, has 28.09% of votes. Miguel Castaneda Sanchez, a sales associate and student, has 25.77% of votes.

In a police report filed last month, Allyson Osorio — Marcos Osorio’s sister — accused Frazier of peeking through his political opponent’s windows and rummaging through his mailbox. Frazier did not comment on the situation, while Marcos Osorio called it “disqualifying” behavior.

Incumbent Rob Fuentes did not seek re-election and is running for Fresno City Council.

Additional updates are slated to arrive around 11:30 p.m. Check back in later for updates.
