Officers responded around 6:51 p.m. to the area after a ShotSpotter alert reporting 10 rounds fired, stemming from a disturbance in the area of Olive and Lucerne avenues, Fresno Police Lt. James Rossetti said.

One man was shot once. He drove himself to the area of Second Street and Orleans Avenue, where police received a separate call about a shooting victim.

He was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition, according to Rossetti.

Rossetti said investigators were still working to determine where the disturbance began, whether the groups knew each other and whether they were connected to any gang.

Police have not released description of possible suspects, and no arrests had been made.
