Those roleplaying games sure do love an epic story - rarely linear, the onus is generally on the player to decide how they want to approach whatever the particular threat is at the time. In Crimson Desert, the threats are variable and numerous, and along with the dozens of other activities you can indulge in on the side, it's good to know how long it will take to beat before you begin.
With environmental puzzles like the Dragon's Stone Chamber and tough boss fights like the Reed Devil, you're never short of things to do in Crimson Desert. If you're like us, it's probably a good idea to know how much time is expected of you before embarking on such a journey, so even if you get sidetracked looking for new skill points, you know roughly how long it'll take to beat the main story.
How long is Crimson Desert?
The main story of Crimson Desert will take around 80 hours to complete, with an additional 80 hours or so added on if you want to attack each and every side mission available. Extracurricular activities - sidequests, minigames, even mining for ore - are at the core of Crimson Desert, so take that 80 hours as a bare minimum, as it's likely you'll get drawn into the outside world.
