Several new homes planned for Kildare town

A €1 million housing development in Whitelands East, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare.

Plans have been submitted for a €1 million housing development in Whitelands East, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare.

The proposal, lodged by Killross Properties Ltd, involves the construction of five new homes, including two three-bedroom, two-storey semi-detached houses and three three-bedroom two-storey terrace units.

The development would be located at the end of a previously approved residential scheme, with minor changes to house types and boundary layouts for units 12–20.

The plans also include all associated site works, connections to existing services, landscaping and ancillary works.

Architectural designs were prepared by Matt Barnes Architects, with planning consultancy provided by McGrane & Partners Ltd.

The site covers approximately 0.271 hectares with a total floor area of 649 square metres.

The application. submitted on March 4, is currently under consideration by Kildare County Council.
